Orog loves to smash, especially people’s noses in fighting pits wherever he went.
A former slave, Orog fought his way to freedom and slowly realized that his skills in fighting could also earn him a decent living as a gladiator.
It was how he found himself traveling to the coastal city of Port Peril and entering the fighting pit in the Formidably Maid tavern.
He had just beaten a human sailor who thought he could best Orog, when he was invited to sit with several nearby sailors who praised him for his fighting prowess and wanted to thank him for earning them much needed gold coins through bets placed on him.
Sitting with them and telling about the many fights he’d won in the past, several of the sailors offered to buy him a few rounds of spiced rum.
The next morning, he found himself pressed into service aboard the pirate ship, Wormwood.
